Indianapolis Media Reporting Launch of IndyX Talent Attraction and Retention Pilot

Indianapolis news outlets — The Indianapolis Star, The Indianapolis Business Journal and Inside Indiana Business, including its Inside Edge Newsletter (lead story) so far — are covering today's unveiling of TechPoint's IndyX talent attraction and retention initiative. TechPoint president and CEO Mike Langellier was also interviewed by Network Indiana's Taylor Bennett, so IndyX stories may also be heard on WIBC 93.1 and other talk radio stations around the state.

Gerry Dick, host of Inside Indiana Business, Tweeted three times in a row about different aspects of the initiative's IndyXPat and IndyXTern components.

Community organizations, business and economic development groups also shared and commented on news of the IndyX initiative launch.

The first event will be IndyXMas, held on December 27 at the Speak Easy and DeveloperTown at 5255 Winthrop Ave, Indianapolis, Ind. (Broad Ripple). The event will showcase what Indianapolis has to offer, the tech companies that are here, and the jobs that have developed over the past five years and will be combined with a dueling piano bar pre-Broad Ripple social with Indy’s fun, vibrant, entrepreneurial community. IndyXMas is a place where Hoosiers can send friends, family and alumni who are interested in moving back to the city and want to get a sense for what is here. To register for the event, visit www.IndyX.org.
