Mira Awards tech success stories reach audience of 191 million viewers, listeners and readers

Creative production partners bring “Gatsby” theme to life

Indiana’s tech sector took center stage on May 3, as another sold out Mira Awards crowd came together to celebrate the year’s many tech success stories and honor the nominees and winners in 14 award categories.

“The media coverage alone reached a total combined audience of more than 191 million, and that doesn’t even include social media or the television exposure through our unique partnership with Inside INdiana Business this year,” said Mike Langellier, president and CEO of TechPoint. “This is why we say the Mira Awards are Indiana’s biggest stage for tech, and of course, it wouldn’t be possible without the support of sponsors like our longtime presenting sponsor BKD and the TechPoint Pillar Partners.”

Numerous nominees, winners and sponsors distributed press releases — some over national news wires that feed into every newsroom in the U.S. — and TechPoint’s own stories were picked up and shared across many news sites. (Data provided by Meltwater media monitoring.)
