The 2015 TechPoint Mira Award winner for mobile technology and Innovation Showcase pitch competition winner, Edwin the Duck by pi lab, hit store shelves nationwide in October. Nearly 600 Best Buy stores currently carry Edwin the Duck and pi lab is in the process of distributing to all Apple stores as well.

The world’s first smart duck, as the company calls it, is a smart toy and learning device that is designed to be your child’s best friend.

Now, Edwin the Duck is competing in the “Last Gadget Standing” innovation awards program at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Out of 10 Finalists, Edwin the Duck appears to be holding third place with several days left in the public voting process.
