Starting today, AT&T is launching ultra-fast internet service in parts of Indianapolis and the surrounding communities. Speeds up to 1 Gigabit per second will be available in homes, apartments and businesses on the AT&T Gigapower and AT&T Business Fiber networks.

For consumers, these 100% fiber networks offer instant access to online movies and games, a faster connection to the cloud, and song downloads of 25 per second.

AT&T GigaPower is currently available in homes, apartments and small businesses in parts of Indianapolis, Brownsburg, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville and Plainfield. The service is available in more than 25 multi-dwelling units in the Indianapolis area.

AT&T Business Fiber is a “blazing-fast” Internet service available to businesses in AT&T Fiber Ready buildings. Eligible Indianapolis area business customers in the Indianapolis-Carmel-Anderson market area as well as throughout Indiana in the Bedford, Bloomington, Columbus, Crawfordsville, Evansville, Frankfort, Kokomo, Marion, Michigan City-La Porte, Muncie, New Castle, South Bend-Mishawaka and Vincennes areas can now download and upload speeds up to 1 gigabit per second.
