Midwest UX is a conference geared toward user experience designers, but also covers topics relevant to developers, content strategists, marketers, entrepreneurs, and more. It’s a non-profit enterprise, and the user experience conference organizers and producers are all volunteers each year. This is the fourth year for the conference.

#MWUX14It moves to different locations each year to helps foster growth and excitement in the hosting city’s User Experience (UX) community and the Midwest. In short, it’s a bit of a grass roots initiative to build stronger design/tech/ux communities in Midwest cities.

Time is running out to get registered for Midwest UX 2014. If you’re thinking about buying a ticket, now’s the time. We’ve got six great reasons why you should:

1.) Learn about what’s next in UX.
This year’s conference centers around what’s next in UX. Emerging technologies, wearables, Internet of Things — how will these things impact the human experiences you will be designing and building in the future? How will this impact your career? How will you need to evolve your own career paths to lead and change with what’s forthcoming in our industry? Our speakers will be talking about all these things and more.

2.) Meet your peers and engage in real dialogue.
Attendees have said, “I not only love the event for the amazing people, but appreciate that it’s a regional conference where we can have more person-to-person interaction and discussions about things that we are experiencing in our work.”

3.) Spend a little to get a lot.
For the price of an Apple Watch, you’ll have access to all 31 speaker sessions, get to interact with new tech in our unique MakeSpaces, watch a screening of Maker, imbibe at the conference parties, eat delicious local food, and experience Indy in October. All for $350.
