Business System Support Analyst
The incumbent will be involved with projects that impact the company from a data integrity perspective and participate as a subject matter expert in workgroups, User Acceptance Testing for modifications that require a higher technical knowledge of a particular system function, as well as validation of ad hoc research and/or adjustments to account records as needed.
Work closely with each business area to understand its needs and challenges, identify opportunities for collaboration, and translate the business’s needs and opportunities into well-defined business requirements for new IT projects or fixes to existing issues. Demonstrate capability to support multiple projects of medium to high complexity, interact with business management and provide process/technology guidance to achieve overall success.
Evaluate issues and assess risk, elevate issues to management, and identify corrective action for impacted systems and/or processes. When applicable, make decisions on behalf of management in regards to leading/managing global priority meetings and the priority and/or installation date of production fixes.
The incumbent must be solution oriented and will work with multiple business users and IT groups within the company, and will also work closely with third-party vendors from a business user and technical perspective.
When demands are that of a non-traditional schedule, incumbent may be required to work night or weekend hours.
