Certified Technology Parks
Indiana's Certified Technology Park program was created to assist in the creation, growth and retention of high-technology businesses and to promote technology transfer opportunities. To achieve this mission, each certified technology park provides a wide range of services from incubator space to raising capital to technical assistance and general business consulting. Through these services, the parks are able to accelerate businesses, assist in job creation and strengthen the economy.
Although each park provides their own unique resources, the majority of the parks offer a core group of services.
Incubator Space
Facility space ranges from office to laboratory square footage. Leases and space are typically flexible and tailored for each situation. Technology and office amenities are also available.
Technical Assistance
Assistance with technology research, development, testing and perfecting is standard. Connections to resources in both the local arena and university settings allow for access to experts.
General Business Services
Since most entrepreneurs are technical experts in their field, general business services are critical. Assistance with management, marketing, finance and operations is provided to build a solid foundation in addition to the technology.
Raising Capital
Capital is critical to early stage companies. Connections and introductions can be provided to angel investors, venture capitals and other investors. Experienced individuals can also provide invaluable expertise in applying for federal grant and research and development project funding, such as Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technical Transfer (STTR) programs.

Indiana incubators play a significant role in the acceleration of the development, growth and retention of entrepreneurial companies.
