Indianapolis based TinderBox received the Emerging Tech Company of the Year Award during TechPoint’s 16th annual Mira Awards honoring the best of tech in Indiana. TinderBox makes it faster to create and deliver sales proposals, contracts and even presentations entirely online.
TinderBox transforms how companies sell with a cloud-based sales productivity suite that powers personalized sales presentations, proposals and contracts. Since its founding in 2010, the company has experienced rapid growth, as they’ve delivered innovations that help companies achieve greater sales productivity and close deals faster.
By deeply integrating with market-leading technologies, including Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, DocuSign and Box, TinderBox’s suite of products create dynamic proposals, presentations and contracts that enable sales teams to spend more time selling and less time creating sales materials.
The Mira Awards judges acknowledged that 2014 was a year of record performance for TinderBox. The company doubled its workforce to 49 employees, added more than 200 customers, and launched an entirely new mobile-first product experience that allows users to create, send and track sales materials from any device, anywhere.
However, the company’s prolific integration growth strategy and tremendous success raising venture funds set them apart from a field of remarkably high performing scale-up companies. After rounds of funding each year since its founding from angel investors, City of Indianapolis and State of Indiana, and VCs — including being the first non-Silicon Valley company to receive funding from West Coast-based FundersClub — TinderBox raised an additional $3 million in venture capital in 2014 to fuel growth and product innovation.
TechPoint, Indiana’s tech ecosystem accelerator, honored 15 companies, entrepreneurs and educators on May 2, at the Mira Awards gala presented by BKD CPAs & Advisors. Mira — Latin for miracle and a variable star thousands of times brighter than the Earth’s sun — represents the best of tech in Indiana each year.
Forty-three independent, volunteer judges spent more than 700 collective hours reviewing and ranking the applications, interviewing the nominees and choosing the winners. Judges are primarily subject matter experts and experienced company founders and executives.
