About The Position 

Clinical Architecture is seeking a Clinical Quality Assurance Analyst in the Indianapolis, IN area who will be responsible for clinical data testing across software applications. More specifically, the Clinical Quality Assurance Analyst will validate the transformation of data throughout software systems, requiring diligence, attention to detail, and experience with HL7 V2, FHIR or C-CDA formats. Additionally, the Clinical Quality Assurance Analyst will utilize clinical knowledge and expertise to provide clinical insight and use case support across the department.  

 Responsibilities  

  • Validate data transformation through a system, ensuring no data is lost and accuracy of final output. 

  • Evaluate and interpret software requirements to create and execute test cases. 

  • Analyze clinical data results, utilizing clinical knowledge and expertise. Create a repeatable framework and execute clinical data test cases for software applications. 

  • Create clear and accurate defect reports. 

  • Contribute to cross-departmental collaboration and discussions for effective information sharing and application software solutions.  

  • Communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical resources, both verbally and in writing.  


 Qualifications and Experience  

  • Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program, with active LPN licensure, as a minimum requirement. 

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, with active RN licensure, or other clinical discipline preferred.  

  • Understanding of data exchange standards (e.g., HL7 / FHIR / C-CDA) and standard medical terminology and coding systems (e.g., ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED, LOINC, RxNORM etc.). 

  • 2+ years of working experience in clinical and/or information technology field. 

  • Breadth of knowledge across medical specialties is a plus. 

  • Understanding of software applications, review/retrieval, documentation, and display of data. 

  • Understanding of test life cycle and testing techniques. 

  • Dedicated to release of quality products with extreme attention to detail.
