Join our dynamic Information Technology team at Thompson Thrift for a summer internship! This is an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience across various IT disciplines, including Business Solutions, Business Systems, Technology Operations, Project Management, Technology Infrastructure, and Technology Services.
Responsibilities:
As an IT intern, you will have the chance to work alongside seasoned professionals in different areas of our IT department, providing you with broad exposure and experience. Specific responsibilities may include:
Supporting the selection and delivery of software solutions and custom design projects in Business Solutions.
Assisting with enterprise system support and vendor management in Business Systems.
Learning about cybersecurity measures and disaster recovery processes in Technology Operations.
Contributing to project portfolio management and status reporting for large-scale IT projects.
Gaining insight into networks, servers, and telecommunications within Technology Infrastructure.
Providing site support to end-users in Technology Services.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn about various IT functions.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

About the Program:
Our full-time, 12-week internship program runs from May to August and is designed to offer you hands-on experience, meaningful connections, and significant growth opportunities:

Site Visit to a multifamily residential property to see projects in action.
Participation in the TT Intern Serve event, collaborating with a local partner to positively impact our community.
