  The Role This role is at the heart of our company: The Lead AV Technician not only leads a team of other technicians but is also the face of UTG when helping customers with all their installation and service needs. We rely on Lead AV Technicians to lead others and to get the job done! This position is based out of our headquarters in Fishers and will require significant travel to client sites in the surrounding Indianapolis area.  Responsibilities
  • Project preparation
  • Install audio-visual technology
  • Complete project reports
  • Respond to service calls and troubleshoot/resolve issues by providing top-tier customer service
  • Represent UTG when interacting with clients in a positive and professional manner
  • Help manage project timelines and expectations
  • Work cross-functionally with project management, sales, and engineering
  • Travel to various client sites
  • Oversee a team while being a contributor as a working lead
Competencies  Must-Haves
  • 3-5 Years Installation/Service Experience
  • Crestron and Biamp Experience
  • Commercial Audio-Visual Installation Experience
  • Willingness to Travel to Client Sites
Nice-to-Haves
  • Crestron and Biamp Certifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
