Local Startups and Executives Will Learn High-Growth Strategies at Oct. 11th Entrepreneur Bootcamp
Recent tech sector IPOs and acquisitions in Indianapolis — like the $2.5 billion acquisition of Exacttarget — have created at least a half-billion dollars in liquidity that might be reinvested into area startups if they are prepared to overcome the challenges and obstacles of the entrepreneurial growth stage.
TechPoint, Indiana’s tech growth initiative, will help 100 startup executives and entrepreneurs learn high-growth strategies during the next Entrepreneur Bootcamp presented by Ice Miller and sponsored by Milestone Advisors and FirstPerson on Oct. 11, at Launch Fishers in Fishers, Ind.
The Kauffman Foundation study of America’s innovative, high-growth businesses shows that most Inc. 500 firms are IT firms, and that only five other metro areas produced more Inc. 500 high-growth companies per capita than Indianapolis in the past 30 years.” Mike Langellier, president and CEO of TechPoint said “we hope to improve upon that ranking and most importantly empower a whole fleet of startup executives prepared to lead their companies into and through rapid growth.”
The agenda for this daylong workshop includes stories, strategies and tactics that growth-stage startups will find useful and immediately implementable, such as:
-
