After family illness, educational interruption, loss, and career pivots, he returned to finish a computer science degree and now uses those experiences to guide future STEM leaders and support overdose awareness efforts.

Geng Wang was nominated for leading Civic Champs through repeated financial and operational crises while staying committed to its nonprofit mission. MTM was nominated for implementing Siemens adaptive control and monitoring across CNC operations. The effort improved cycle times, tooling costs, machine capacity, and data-driven decision-making without requiring new machines.

SMC Corporation of America is a major automation and pneumatics manufacturer operating one of the industry’s largest and most advanced facilities in Indiana.
