Event Description
Innovating in Indy
The Indiana Biosciences Research Institute (IBRI) will break ground on its headquarters later this year at 16 Tech, a 60-acre innovation district intentionally designed to facilitate discovery and drive growth through the convergence of people, purpose and place across life sciences, tech and advanced engineering.
IBRI and the Indiana University School of Medicine will be the first locators at 16 Tech in the 120,000-square-foot research and office building. Additional development, including flexible workspace, makerspace, apartments, and greenspace, will round out the initial phase and create the physical space and head space to ignite collaboration and innovation across industries.
People. Programs. Place.
Centric, the Indiana Biosciences Research Institute and DORIS are bringing together entrepreneurs and innovators from across life sciences, technology and engineering to explore the theme of innovation in a 21st century economy. This will be a great opportunity to connect with your peers across the community and envision how you can plug into 16 Tech.
October 23 and December 4 - We’ll explore how People and Programs fuel success. What companies, organizations and individuals would energize life sciences discoveries at 16 Tech? What are the programs, events and Meetups that would support innovation in our industry? We’ll also talk about the role Place plays in sparking creativity in the life sciences community. From coffee shops and cafes to walking trails and bike shares, what are the features and amenities that would inspire you?
There is no cost to register, but participation is limited to just 75 in each session. Please sign up for the session that best suits your calendar. We want to hear from you!
