Industry Lecture Series: Scott Sale and Sarah Schlifke, Delta Faucet

Hosted by Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing at IUPUI

Event Description

The Industry Lecture Series explores the impact of human-centered design on the rapid evolution of the Internet of Things. Just as human-centered design and design thinking methodologies are transforming traditional businesses and business models, these same processes are accelerating the deployment of innovative new IoT ecosystems across a broad spectrum of industry verticals. This lecture series will feature design leaders from major national corporations describing how human-centered design practices are integral to the development of forward-thinking IoT business strategies.

Mike Sale has worked in several product development roles for Delta Faucet Company, most recently helping bring Delta’s first internet-connected, voice-enabled kitchen faucet to market. As Delta Faucet Company’s Innovation Product Manager, Sarah is a forward-thinker in Delta’s Research & Development group working to bring aspirational ideas to a manufacturable reality. Sale and Schlifke are both graduates of the IU Kelley School of Business.
