I will be covering the basic accounting principles, why they are important, and how they impact the financial statements. Additionally, I will demonstrate reporting in QuickBooks.

BIO OF DAISY PHAM
Daisy loves to learn and is currently a Program Manager in Financial Services at Indiana University (IU) Health focusing on reporting and process improvements. Additionally, Daisy is a startup/scale-up consultant with LiftBridge CXO since March 2020 and has been an Associate Faculty Member (part-time) at IU Kelley School of Business Indianapolis (KSBI) since August 2015, teaching basic accounting skills.
Prior to IU Health, Daisy was a part of the founding team at The Halo App leading the product development and managing integration partners for 8 months. Prior to Halo, Daisy was a consultant at Guidehouse, formerly PwC Public Sector, for 2.5 years. She assisted the U.S. Army’s Business Process Standardization (BPS) initiative by supporting and leading the standardization of several business processes as well as program management and strategic planning. Prior to Guidehouse, Daisy was an external financial statement auditor with EY for 3 years. She performed and led several audits, including a SEC, Fortune 500 Company with multi-locations, and evaluated internal controls in accordance with SOX 404.
Daisy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from IU KSBI, majoring in accounting, finance, and international studies and minoring in economics and psychology, and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Data Analytics from Boston University.
