Hey Members, spring has sprung! And, while 2020 has provided its share of novel and unprecedented challenges, there are always good reasons to celebrate and appreciate! So, Women & Hi Tech has decided to throw a party! But, this is not your typical party – it’s a house party. You are cordially invited to attend Women & Hi Tech’s #INThisTogether Virtual Spring Networking House Party on June 16, 2020 from 5-6:30 pm!

Need to connect and interact with professional people in a fun and safe setting? Ready to again host your world-renowned dinner party, make your nationally acclaimed dish or drink, or bust out those fly dance moves for all to appreciate? But, not quite ready to entertain large crowds? Come network, mingle, and party like a rock star with Women & Hi Tech members in the comfort of your very own home.

As seen in the agenda below, we will begin with an annual recap, an address by our outgoing President, and an opportunity for members to vote on the new 2020-2021 Board Slate. This brief business will be followed by an entertaining and spring fresh online networking opportunity to make new friends and reacquaint with old ones while social distancing. Each round of this 4-course deal will require your own personal flavor. So, bring your favorite spirit, your famous party appetizer, your best charades game, those show-stopping dance moves, and join Women & Hi Tech as we host our first virtual networking event EVER. We look forward to connecting with you there!

*5:50-6:05 Course 3 – Charades Categories: Famous Women, STEM Professionals, Famous Female Disney Character, and Favorite Animals.
*6:05-6:20 Course 4 – “Dance to the Beat of Your Own Drum” in a Virtual Soul Train Line: You Bring the Music and the Moves for Your 60 seconds of Solo Dance Fame
*6:20-6:30 Closing

Registration for this event is free and open to members only. Registered members will be shipped a special party favor to the mailing address entered during registration for use during the event.

NOTE: Women & Hi Tech recognizes that in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hoosier women in STEM need academic and career support now more than ever. To respond to the growing need in our Indiana community, Women & Hi Tech has established its first ever member-funded Leading Light Award scholarship for Indiana women in STEM - The Women & Hi Tech #INThisTogether scholarship! With complimentary registration to this Women & Hi Tech #INThisTogether Virtual Spring Networking House Party, each member is encouraged to provide a tax-deductible donation to this inaugural scholarship.
