Brief Summary of Role

Appirio provides products and services that help enterprises accelerate their adoption of cloud computing. Appirio has a proven track record of delivering business value to customers by implementing mission-critical Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions based on platforms such as Salesforce and Google Apps, and developing innovative applications that connect and extend today's leading on-demand platforms.

Appirio is focused on salesforce.com and Google Enterprise customer implementations. Technical Consultants will work with customers to analyze their requirements, develop designs, and implement salesforce.com systems.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Specific areas of concentration include:

System Implementation & Adoption
Salesforce.com
Products (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.)
Force.com platform development
Apex programming language
App Exchange
Enthusiastic, professional, and confident personality, with a focus on customer success
Excellent listening skills to fully understand the customer requirements and pain points
Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous client projects
Ability to translate customer requirements into implementation plans
Technical acumen to convert plans into real solutions that work
Driven by customer success with a team player attitude
Located and able to work in the U.S., able to work from a home office and able to travel up to 15%
Looking for a full-time position
Ability to collaborate remotely in a professional setting via video conferencing
Education and Required Experience (Requirements)

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience with technical implementations of customer projects with 8 years preferred
Advanced experience with Salesforce.com configuration and custom development
Provide technical support in sales calls, solution presentations, and assist the Enterprise Account Executive with sizing customer requirements
Ability to translate customer requirements into implementation plans
Technical acumen to convert plans into real solutions that work
Strong presentation and communication skills
Enthusiastic, professional, and confident personality, with a focus on customer success
Excellent listening skills to fully understand the customer requirements and pain points
Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous client projects
Driven by customer success with a team player attitude
Experience in agile approaches to project management a plus
Experience with other CRM software (Siebel, Clarify, Vantive, Peoplesoft, NetSuite, etc.) preferred
Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools preferred
Application development exposure to Javascript, XML, HTTP, Java, C++, ASP, SQL preferred
