Workday – Compensation Lead – Sr. Consultant (remote/travel)

Brief Summary of Role
Appirio is focused on Workday, Salesforce.com, and Google Enterprise customer implementations. Workday Senior Consultants will work onsite and remotely with customers to advise on maximizing the effectiveness of their HR operations and the HR function.
Lead Workday HCM, Compensation implementations
Guide clients to design, build and deploy Workday HCM, Comp to meet their business needs
Perform analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships
Consult clients to improve efficiency and reduce costs of operations, ranging from HR Strategy to process design to shared and self-service applications and enabling technologies
Participate in the sales cycle when requested to gather requirements, formulate and present Appirio’s delivery approach and develop a proposal/SOW
Advise on additional cloud strategy and technology options
Education and Required Experience (Requirements)
B.S degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experienceWorkday HCM Certification is required
Hands-on experience implementing at least one full life cycle Workday HCM, Workday Compensation, Workday Comp deployment is required
Broad-based knowledge of Human Capital Management, with areas of expertise in Talent Management, Advanced Compensation, Benefits or Payroll
3 to 5 Years of PeopleSoft (or other ERP) HCM implementation experience with 8+ years preferred
Workday HCM & Compensation certifications preferred
Experience defining HR business and systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
Experience designing and implementing technology-enabled HR business solutions for clients
Strong presentation and communication skills required
Enthusiastic, professional, and confident personality, with a focus on customer success
Team oriented with an ability to mentor less experienced consultants
Excellent listening skills to fully understand the customer requirements and pain points
Located and able to work in the U.S. and able to travel up to 40-60%
