Bring your complex problem-solving skills and strong business acumen to determine business requirements and define, implement, and enable advanced analytics solutions. You will work closely with others on the Data Team to develop streaming andor ELTETL data integrations using combinations of scripting and Talend. This role provides a wide range of technical expertise in database technologies (MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Linux and Windows Server). Primary Responsibilities:

General data team operations and client support, including but not limited to answering data and business process questions, troubleshooting issues, completing portfolio project work as assigned, and assisting with the building and maintaining of the standard operational integrations for university systems

Build and maintain data integrations using visualization/analytics tools and systems including application updates, software licensing, maintenance contracts, contract/pricing negotiations

Work with IT account managers and university business units to spec requirements for new data integrations or major changes to existing integrations

Manage multiple priorities and interact effectively as a team member and participate in group meetings and team building activities

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred, degree in computer science, business or related technical field and applicable professional certifications a plus

Experience with relational databases, data lakes, and data warehouses within depth knowledge of SQL querying languages (PL/SQL, T-SQL, etc.)

Specialization in informatics, data analysis/data science or related field preferred

Familiarity with both enterprise and cloud system architecture concepts preferred

The ability to analyze, visualize, articulate, and conceptualize complex and noncomplex problems; ability to facilitate and develop innovative solutions in a collaborative manner with business unit staff as well as IT staff
