As a Software Engineer on the sustaining development team, you will be working closely with Customer Care, Engineering and Quality Assurance to identify customer reported problems and solve them. This position is a highly visible position within the company and the right candidate will have the desire to shine. If you are a tenacious problem solver and have the desire to seek an efficient solution to address complex problems, then this position is for you. This position isn’t about just fixing bugs, the sustaining team is also responsible for adding product enhancements which directly impact customer usability and retention.
The position requires the candidate to work comfortably in fast moving situations and stay current with technology. The individual will be required to confidently work in a Windows environment and be able to creatively trouble shoot problems without impacting the customer usage of the product. This position also requires excellent communications and collaboration skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and the willingness to travel occasionally for key customer meetings.
