QA Test Engineer
Clinical Architecture is seeking a QA Test Engineer in the Indianapolis, IN area who will be primarily responsible for automated testing of Web Services. This position requires a strong knowledge of front and back-end testing, and some coding experience. The candidate must have experience testing web services, coding, creating, and executing manual test cases to verify all applications meet requirements, as well as the ability to create SQL queries to verify data.

• Creating, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web services
• Creation and execution of manual and automated test scripts for web-based and windows-based applications
• Front and back-end testing, using SQL queries
• Create clear and accurate test cases and defects
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people, both oral and written

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Programming or automation experience using C# or Java
• Experience in writing SQL statements
• Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail
• Dedicated to release of quality products
• Highly motivated, committed, and reliable
• Experience with web based, windows based, and web services testing
• Experience with automation tools a plus
• Ability to work in a team environment and be a team-player, yet also be self-motivated
• Ability to overcome test cycle obstacles
• Flexible, with ability to switch projects when needed
• Aptitude to learn new skills and complex applications
• Understanding of test life cycle and testing techniques
