Summary of Position Functions

Copper Mountain Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for assisting in the development of innovative software applications related to the field of RF test and measurement solutions. Essential Position Functions
• Developing and testing applications that support and enhance the functionality of Copper Mountain Technologies’ portfolio of Vector Network Analyzers
• Working with a cross-functional team to define and document requirements for software solutions
• Full stack software development including implementation, validation, and testing
• Participate in documentation, code review and refactoring

Education and Qualifications
• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineer/Electrical Engineering with a strong focus in software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A creative problem solver who focuses on details, quality, and organization
• At least 5 years of experience in software development
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in C++ and C# are required
• Prior experience developing QML application in Qt platform is highly desired
• Knowledge of Qt-Creator IDE and Qt Libraries are highly desired
• Experience in developing software for Windows and Linux OS at application level
• Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing algorithms
• Knowledge of the git control system is required
• Experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket
• Ability to develop unit tests is preferred
• Experience and proficiency in developing WPF applications using Visual Studio
• Basic understanding of RF fundamentals and principles
• Familiarity and experience with the operation RF test and measurement equipment
• Familiarity with modern software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
