Summary:

You're reading this because lately, you've been thinking "I really want a key role at a high growth 40-person B2B SaaS company and I want that role to allow me to build new features in react and react-native AND offer solutions to any code or processes that aren’t working, identify technical debt, and collaborate as an agile team to deliver business value." You love to code, but you can see beyond the {brackets} to understand a great user experience and have a natural eye for design. You’re a lifelong learner. If you're a front-end developer, we're looking for these skills & responsibilities:
Develop new user-facing features using React and React Native
Proficiently write JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
Redux
Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

If you're a back-end developer, we're looking for these skills & responsibilities:
Optimize queries for maximum performance
Amazon Web Services cloud-based infrastructure
Debug distributed systems with high data loads
Write advanced and performant queries for MySQL / Aurora
RESTful APIs
PHP

For all developers:
Build upon existing codebase following and establishing general software engineering best practices
Work with a skilled development team and support team to quickly fix bugs
Consult our team on design patterns, development best practices, service desk process, and DevOps trade-offs
Help us scale our existing Scrum/Agile development methodologies as we scale up
Participate in quarterly company and team goal setting
Perform code reviews

About the Team:

Our Senior Software Engineer will report directly to an Engineering Team Lead, which will report to the Head of Engineering. Our engineering team currently has 4 engineers, 1 qa engineer, and currently operates as one large agile team along with our 2 product managers. We anticipate organizing efforts into 2 separate agile teams following the SAFe framework in the upcoming months as we add more engineers such as yourself.
