Job Description


The position is responsible for providing technical support and client/customer services as well as performing projects/reviews regarding various DISA IT enterprise and contingency planning initiatives for the agency.

Issues cover a variety of complex IT technical support services to include installation, recovery, troubleshooting, modification, and configuration of IT systems in response to DISA Executive Liaison/IT Contingency Planning requirements.

Implements and monitors contingency planning requirements for IT. Plans and conducts IT contingency annual exercises for DFAS systems.

Conducts risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.

Promotes awareness of security issues among management and ensures sound security principles are reflected in organizations? visions and goals.

Performs installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of customer hardware and software; development/updates of customer support policies, procedures, and standards; and related systems training.
