IT Project Manager

Job Description

Duties:

Monitor and evaluate of the performance of all investments for programs and initiatives and advises senior management regarding continuation, modification or termination of projects and programs.

Develop and maintain DFAS operational, technical, infrastructure and application systems architectures.

Perform a wide-range of work and management oversight necessary to facilitate and manage activities related to procurement; strategic planning; investment review and control; and development of IT strategies.

Manage IT projects using methods and practices based on appropriate directives and instructions and quality management standards to plan, direct, and coordinate the selection, acquisition and implementation of advanced electronic information systems.

Develop requirements and project schedules monitoring closely to ensure projects are on schedule and meeting requirements within established budget limitations.
