Job Description


The employee has responsibility as a team/project leader for remote Defense Mega Center (DMC) mainframe processing for assigned customers.

Monitors and maintains multi database applications and interaction between multiple applications

Reviews production control logs, systems lists (SYSLISTS) and operator messages to ensure that application programs are executed successfully.

Analyzes systems design deficiencies and modifies appropriated JCL to preclude systems abends.

Develops programs to isolate causes of problems between hardware, system software, and application programs to enhance the detection/correction of damaged or lost files/records, and/or to extend system capabilities to support local requirements.
