Looking to be a champion for and change the game in smart home product development? Delta Faucet Company has an opportunity for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our Connected Water Product Team and help deliver the next generation of product features and technology to our customers. This person will have the opportunity to architect, design, code, and test new algorithms; collaborate with multi-functional teams; and coordinate with suppliers to launch new electronic products to the market. What you’ll do for us:

Work on our growing Connected Water team and alongside our Embedded Software (Firmware) Architect to develop and integrate IoT solutions for our next generation products.
Take lead on all embedded software-based engineering efforts, making day-to-day technical decisions and mentoring other software engineers.
Build and update with the latest architecture and embedded software.
Maintain and improve automated tests and pipelines.
Influence decisions by relating to others; demonstrate resourcefulness and flexibility.
Expert in problem solving and leading others.
Provide technical leadership on multi-functional teams and contractors.
First point of contact within engineering with external customer. Lead customer presentations.
Mentor teammates on embedded software engineering languages, tools, services, and best practices. And be mentored by others.
The experience and skills you bring to us:

An engineering or computer science bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
5-10 years of proven experience in new product development, R&D, sustaining or other relevant field. Champion of Agile & DevOps philosophies.
Proficient with C and/or C++ languages. Nice to understand .NET (C#) and other languages.
Experience working with designs including Capacitive touch, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Z-Wave, and/or Thread.
Familiarity of low power embedded designs and communication protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, and USB.
Proficient in modern coding and design practices - SOLID principals, Test Driven Design (TDD), and Domain Driven Design (DDD).
Experience with HTTP APIs, RESTful services, & JSON databases.
Familiarity with front-end web technologies, such as React, Angular, Vue, etc.
Familiarity with software tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps.
Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS. Specific experience with their IoT solutions a plus.
