This is a hybrid role that requires some on-site work (Indianapolis, IN).

The primary focus of this position is to play a senior role in the IT support of infrastructure, services, software and related information technology components; enable business units to reach their goals by supporting various projects and by maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of IT services. This role will partner with the other leaders in IT to plan, design and deliver IT capabilities while considering how those capabilities will be supported. The position helps to define technology standards including policies and procedures.

BE THE EXPERT:
Deliver financial wellness via education, listening and personalized solutions.
System Engineer (60%)
• Infrastructure application support, design, and implementation (15%)
o Ensure the infrastructure is monitored proactively to identify system degradation or disruption
o Create and maintain infrastructure documentation including procedures, standards, and environments
o Create and maintain applications and file shares in Citrix DaaS
o Work with vendors to troubleshoot, upgrade and administer systems

• Operating system support, design, and implementation (15%)
o Ownership of Windows operating systems
o Maintain highly secure environment through regular maintenance and patching
o Provide excellence in service of infrastructure system-related components including Active Directory, DHCP and DNS.

• Hardware and Software support, implementation, and administration (15%)
o Tier 3 support and administration related to HW/SW provisioning, employee onboarding and roles assignment, installation/configuration of hardware and software, and maintenance of workstation hardware, software, and business applications.
o Monitor hardware (using managed services) for compliance issues, errors and recommend proper course of action to appropriate IT team members or vendors as necessary.
o Analyze resource utilization, system event logs, error logs, security logs and performance logs of servers and desktops.
o Leverage automation tools and technologies to streamline utilization of cloud environments, for optimal monitoring, reporting and remediation of issues.

• Service Availability (15%)
o Monitor, maintain and report necessary security related changes in accordance with IT processes.
o Keep backup systems functional and patched.
o Setup and maintain disaster recovery systems, facilities and procedures to support business resumption for incident response and/or disaster recovery scenarios.

LIVE THE PURPOSE:

Incident Management and Request Fulfillment (30%)
• Exhibit mastery of service excellence with an emphasis on ownership of issues and drive for results. Provide service and administration of systems and software applications.
• Complete incident and service request tasks in adherence to ticket management procedures, to meet service level agreement (SLA) expectations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Adhere to incident response procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis on a routine basis and take action to prevent future occurrences of incidents.
• Provide Tier 3 support for client systems including desktops, laptops, check scanners, receipt printers, network printers and mobile devices.

GROW THE BUSINESS:
Deliver innovative products and services by way of engaged talent.
Leadership (10%)
• Informal leadership responsibilities – informal technical (mentoring, coaching) for other IT Support personnel.
• Responsible for vendor management, including managing services providers (i.e. on-prem network support) and HW/SW providers.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology related field required, Bachelor’s degree requirement can be met with an associate degree and equivalent related experience.
• Five+ years demonstrated experience as an engineer/administrator, managing/supporting including but not limited to, operating system management and infrastructure administration within an enterprise environment are required.
• Demonstrated knowledge in security monitoring and best practices for operating systems, WLAN, WAN, LAN and other enterprise systems in accordance with established industry security standards.
• 3+ Microsoft 365 administration (Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) experience required.
• Experience with Mobile Device Management (Intune) and PureCloud is a plus
• Demonstrated experience managing cloud environments (Azure, AWS) preferred.
• Specialized experience with hardware integration, redundant systems, virtual environments and data storage/exchange preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in network and data security practices and policies.
• Demonstrated knowledge in managing MDM solutions. (Intune preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of data standards. (both data exchange and storage).
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with the ability to communicate effectively with staff of varying technical expertise.
• Proven experience in solving problems and researching issues with minimal supervision.
• Certification in ITIL practices (ITIL foundations level) a plus.
• Other certifications or formal training in Microsoft and Citrix a plus.
