Engagement Strategist


Job Description

The Employee Engagement Strategist (EES) is responsible for customer value attainment and as such owns the strategic relationship with Emplify’s customers. The EES ensures that our customers maximize their value with Emplify through strategic interactions on engagement results delivery. The Strategist owns those consultations with the customer, delivering and interpreting engagement results and then coaching to ensure that customers communicate results to their teams and also take action to make improvements.

A Day in the Life

Lead strategic customer kickoff meetings
Work with customer to define success criteria and create a customer success plan
Analyze customer engagement results and write executive summaries
Lead results presentations to leaders and managers
Consult on and recommend SmartPulse (open-response employee follow-ups) topics and targeting
Coach customers on company results communications and actions
Capture campaign results metrics
Capture customer business success criteria changes resulting from Emplify involvement
Contribute to customer education articles as needed
Secure subscription renewals
Identify and close upsell opportunities

What we look for

Demonstrable and credible leadership and coaching skills with the C-Suite
Expertise in organizational change management; ability to negotiate with, influence, and overcome the objections of customers
Solution selling and closing skills
Analytical capabilities to tie customer data to recommended customer actions
A true passion for customers and for customer success
Ability to define and offer equitable, profitable solutions to customer problems
Ability to stay highly organized and focused on priorities amid distractions
