To ensure our continued growth and disruption of the market, we are adding a Senior Pre-Sales Solution Architect that specializes in Microsoft D365 Finance and SCM. Their main responsibility will be driving large, complex sales pursuits with the Mid-to-Enterprise organizations.

The Senior Pre-Sales Solution Architect will have a deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX, D365 Finance, D365 Supply Chain Management and D365 Commerce, specifically in the areas of Retail/CPG, Wholesale & Distribution, and Manufacturing. They will participate in sales pursuits as a key member of the team in support of the sales account strategy, orchestration of the sales pursuit, and identification of the overall solution stack. They will also manage the discovery of current state vs future state, learn and understand the business outcomes desired, and lead the demo process to show how these outcomes will be achieved.

Primary Responsibilities:

Works closely with the D365 Sales team to properly qualify business opportunities for enVista services with a focus on Microsoft’s ERP applications
Presents to executive levels of organizations and assist with preparation of formal proposals
Performs opportunity analysis to gathers and assesses customer needs, both business and technical
Works with Sales team to identify pain points, potential solutions, project steps, competition landscape
Solution planning and design that architects an appropriate technical solution to meet the customer's requirements
Investigates and optimizes a solution's fit to the requirements of an opportunity
Modifies solution design to new requirements
Establishes the legitimacy of a solution and its components
Foresees some of the potential challenges for the proposed solution
Maintains excellent communications with customer and Microsoft reps involved
Represents enVista as technical expert with partners and customers shares knowledge in area of expertise
Advances opportunities through the use of effective consultative selling techniques.
Communicates and articulates the details of their component roles in a proposed customer solution.
Actively supports the sales team with solution advice, proposals, presentations, and other customer communications.
Analyzes and provides support to deals in the pipeline where needed
Maintains a strong knowledge of enVista services and opportunities including client stories and case studies specific to the client prospects industry and service need
What you need:

5+ years Dynamics AX and D365 F&O experience with ideally 4 or more years of pre-sales experience
Solid presentation skills and business acumen
Intellectual inquisitiveness, especially around emerging enterprise technologies
Expert knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem and cloud offerings
Highly versed in complex sales processes
Industry experience in Retail/CPG, Wholesale Distribution, and/or Manufacturing highly preferred
Requires strong interpersonal, management, and presentation skills
Requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to sense and relate observations to business opportunity
Must be ambitious and take initiative
