A great deal of the work that happens in any large business, hospitals included, relies on sound computer applications. Upgrading applications, implementing new versions or apps, and providing support is a busy job with lots of variety. From assessing needs and troubleshooting to managing vendor relationships, our Application Business Analysts have plenty on their task list.

The analyst will understand the business and established processes within physician practice locations.
Provide rounding assistance within physician practices to ensure proper workflows are established and education has been delivered to staff serving our patients.
Frequently provide onsite support assistance as needed to address concerns of those practices.
Will serve as the front line support for clinicians utilizing clinical tools and applications within the Epic systems for physician practice locations.
Will build relationships with clinicians to ensure a collaborative understanding of the holistic clinician experience while conducting the business of quality care.
Will collaborate closely with the Tier 1 and Tier 3 analysts within the organization to provide efficient customer service while focusing on improvement of the overall system experience of clinicians.
Provide ongoing troubleshooting and at elbow assistance to serve customers using Epic workflow solutions and other integrated solutions on a regular basis.
Perform root cause analysis and develop process and procedures that foster a positive user experience.
Serve customers through relocations and moves to ensure a smooth transition as practices move throughout the network within the region.
Assist with needs assessments, impacts analysis and defining the scope for new requests.
Use Information Services Project Management Methodology to lead projects.

Prefer physician office and Epic experience.
Has proficient understanding of principles in one or more functions of a position.
Ideal candidate will have experience with vendors, and Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, as well as Project management and System implementations and support experience
Experience with vendor relationship management, able to work on contract negotiation, and on-going consultation by providing technical/application expertise to support the contract decision maker.
Have proven track record in managing healthcare vertical projects.
Healthcare Business Analyst (strong technical or healthcare IT analyst to drive out requirements/desired outcomes).
For Epic Business Analysts: Not all roles require certification. For roles that do require certification individuals must be certified within six weeks of last class and within three test attempts. Certification required for application build functions. Epic Ambulatory certification required within 6 weeks and Epic Cadence/prelude within 6 months.
