WHAT WE NEED
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The IS team at Franciscan Alliance develops and implements a wide variety of systems and applications. Our work is seen in every department from nursing to patient registration, from accounting to HR. That breadth of work brings a diverse group of end-users. Our IS Educator works with them all to train them on the effective use of tools and applications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Responsible for training various Epic applications.
Deliver classroom instruction to a variety of audiences, understanding and applying adult learning principles.
Collaborate with other Franciscan Educators to test and update curriculum or other training materials.
Create material to provide on-the-job assistance with an application or skill. Includes, but is not limited to tip sheets, FYI’s, and quick reference guides.
Provide on-site support for end users during implementations or assistance as needed.
Complete desk side reviews and shadowing of departments to gather knowledge for training.
Complete cross-training in multiple Franciscan platform applications.
May perform quality audits.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
Instructor Application Credentialing required within three months of employment.
Learning Management System experience preferred.
Must be able to facilitate and lead meetings.
Flexibility and adaptability.
Ability to take needed action without direct instructions.
Excellent communication skills using tact, sensitivity, sound judgment, and a professional attitude.
Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
Excellent presentation skills.
