Job Description

Assist the CMIO and CNIO in developing strong partnerships between clinicians, facility leadership, EHR Governance Committees, various clinical committees/workgroups and Information Services.
Perform as the lead Project Coordinator for Senior Management initiatives related to Informatics. Support the CNIO and CMIO in the oversight of the EHR Governance process by gathering and analyzing information, creating presentation, and tracking and communicating decisions.
Partner with Clinical Operations, Informatics Leadership and IT Leaders to complete budgets, information services requests, and business case justifications to support clinical system enhancements, implementations, and upgrades.
Coordinate project activities, resources, and information in support of the Informatics program.
Assist Informatics Leadership in the planning, design, development, implementation, support and ongoing optimization of EMR and other technologies.
Monitor, audit, and report on adoption process to identify trends.
Assume a leadership role in identifying and coordinating change efforts, including communication, change readiness assessment, gap analysis, education, workflows and policy and procedural changes.
Assist with analysis and documentation of current state / future state.
Collaborate with Clinicians, Operations, Informatics, IT and vendor teams to support business cases to increase user adoption and improve patient care and engagement.
Participate/lead initiatives to educate, train, and provide ongoing educational support to clinicians regarding the use of EMR and related technologies.
Work with key customers to develop strategies, manage change, and maintain compliance of best practice workflow.
Participate in facility and corporate committees and/or projects as clinical informatics expert.

Progressive experience leading implementations and support of industry standard systems, i.e. EMR/EHR, and other enterprise systems in an integrated healthcare system.
Experience implementing and supporting Epic EHR in a large integrated healthcare environment.
Advanced project management skills which demonstrate the ability to plan, implement, and manage complex project simultaneously.
Deliver results in a complex cross functional environment is required.
Strong analytical thinking skills, ability to deconstruct problems and define and implement solutions.
Strong capacity to communicate and present complex concepts to a variety of audiences, including clinicians, executives, and lay stakeholders.
Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making and communication skills.
