WHAT YOU WILL DO
Respond to support center requests and incidents. Perform certain troubleshooting steps as part of the initial response process while the customer is still on the phone. Resolve problems during the initial call when possible. Refer unresolved requests to appropriate IS team for resolution.
Conduct application training for end users, including all training administration and learning management tasks. Perform rounding on end users to identify and resolve training gaps.
Work with end users to identify, analyze and document IS needs. Assist in the project management and implementation of IS solutions.
Participate in workflow design and system build. Provide application and workflow testing. Implement system builds and/or applications. Support applications during and after implementation process.
Provide technical implementation and support for end user devices (PCs, laptops, monitors, phones, printers). Work with users to determine device needs. Manage projects to deploy devices in support of local and system wide construction and business projects.
Establish security for users and groups for operating systems, databases, and applications. Maintain and distribute system passwords for all applications, servers, and databases. Provide second tier problem resolution for security related issues. Facilitate and fulfill daily customer security requests, meeting established service level requirements.
Participate in design, installation and maintenance of WAN and LAN solutions, voice systems, and video systems. Install and maintain network equipment .Test and troubleshoot connectivity related issues.
Participate in analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of operating systems software. Partner with applications groups to evaluate vendor supplied software and design platform and operating system solutions to meet the customer needs. Design, develop, recommend and maintain server and desktop platform standards to meet the changing needs of the healthcare business.
Participate in the diagnoses and repair of server and desktop platform hardware and software problems. Partner with support teams to ensure quick and appropriate solutions and repairs are delivered to the hospital end users. Proactively monitor operating system performance to ensure high level performance for application users.
Participate in the development and implementation of security solutions such as user log-on and authentication solutions, user account management, risk assessments, network-based and web application-based vulnerability scanning, virus management and response, and intrusion detection.
