The Product Management team at Genesys works with customers and users to identify product opportunities, functional requirements and business processes. Product Managers translate this data into product strategy, roadmap and detailed requirements that are hyper focused on business impact and customer value. Product Managers evangelize with internal and external stakeholders for buy-in and partner with engineering to bring their product to life. Additionally, Product Managers will ensure success of their product by working with their Product Marketing counterparts to drive pricing strategy, product positioning, promotional planning, product launches and product adoption strategies.
YOUR MISSION: The ideal candidate will have a strong product management background, experience leading large projects, and have a well-rounded technical background in current SaaS technologies. A great product manager sits at the intersection of business, technology, and design. The candidate also possesses rock-solid background in Reporting, data analysis, insight, and converting data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information. The candidate should also have a business background that enables them to support a process of researching, analyzing, and reporting on business development activity. You’ll be customer-obsessed, strategic, detail-oriented, and highly creative driving with the following primary responsibilities:

Our customers represent small startups to Fortune 50 enterprises; and we develop customer intimacy by meeting with our customers regularly to understand their needs, review user experience and design, and ensure we are solving their problems;
We deliver mission critical solutions, so we have to think about scale, performance, compatibility and extensive downstream impacts;
We lead product innovation from initial strategy through delivery and customer adoption.
We have a seemingly endless backlog that you will have the responsibility of organizing and prioritizing across all of our teams.
We have a vibrant partner ecosystem (i.e. Go-to-market, Technology and Data) that helps accelerate our platform vision.
WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE
Help to position Genesys as the expert in the critical Contact Center & Customer Experience.
Become an advocate for customers and partners helping to identify their business needs and deliver insights to help improve key business outcomes.
Partner with Marketing & Customers to create a platform that evangelizes the importance of business Insights.
Provide organizational clarity on the best space for Genesys Analytics to play in given our technical vision, strengths and differentiation as well as identify key technology partnerships.
Partner cross functionally to ensure our platform surfaces and delivers the most meaningful & impactful metrics our customer base and differentiates Genesys with in our market.
Develop a strong partnership with Engineering to translate our vision and business strategy into a specific roadmap that we deliver with impact and velocity.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
8-10 years’ experience in product management, with demonstrated success driving product initiatives in analytics and business intelligence.
Technical expertise in the following areas: analytics and visualization, data management, databases, ETL pipelines.
In-depth knowledge of analytics platforms and products from other software vendors.
Developer background with a player-coach mentality that enables you to roll up your sleeves and provide hands-on usage and feedback.
Skilled at partnering with VP and C-level executives in driving business decision-making and product road mapping.
Ability to combine both internal user data and consumer insights to help map the product experience.
Ability to complement all decisions with supportive analytics and test/measure performance.
The ability to juggle many different projects concurrently.
A proven ability to prioritize and manage your time and backlog to accelerate the delivery of solutions to our customers.
The desire and willingness to continue to learn.
