The ideal candidate will have a strong product management background, experience leading large technical projects, and have a well-rounded technical background in current SaaS technologies. A great product manager sits at the intersection of business, technology, and creativity. The candidate also possesses rock-solid background in data analysis, insight, and converting data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information. The candidate should also have a business background that enables them to support a process of researching, analyzing, and reporting on business development activity. You’ll be customer-centric, strategic, detail-oriented, and highly creative driving with the following primary responsibilities:
Build a product roadmap for Identity and Access Management services at the core of Genesys’ multi-tenant cloud platform.
Identity (User Authentication services, SSO integrations, 3rd party OAuth, Directory, etc.)
Access Management (resource access control via users, groups, policies, divisions, federations, etc.)
Accounting (Full auditing of all Identity and Access activities).
Drive our IAM platform evolution and support Genesys and our customers compliance initiatives and needs.
Manage and unify multiple IAM related product initiatives across the company to build a foundational IAM services infrastructure.
Work with across the tier zero service teams, integration teams, security/compliance teams, partner community, and our developer community to ensure their IAM needs are met using an agile methodology.
Participate in specific sales opportunities (customer demos, roadmap alignment meetings, marketing events etc.)
Collaborate with other groups within the company to orchestrate successful product outcomes including: Engineering, Design, Technical Program Management, Delivery, Support, Customer Success, and Product Marketing.
Skills & Experience:
3+ years’ Product Management or Software development experience in a Cloud/SaaS Software services model.
Understanding of cloud architecture and fundamentals of defining scalable multi-tenant systems and microservices based architectures.
Industry experience in Customer Care, Sales, or Digital Marketing strong plus.
Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM a plus.
Specialization in Identity and Access Management practices and patterns.
Working knowledge of one or more of the following: SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Social Sign-On, SSO, LDAP.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including business, technical, and creative teams.
Experience with developing and managing functional/feature requirements necessary to build highly engaged experiences.
Experience with Design Thinking principals and methodologies preferred.
Have extensive experience with developer-first and API-first development.
Have experience building complex technical products.
Have experience building products that run in public cloud environments using microservices architectures.
