TITLE: Commercial Operations Manager (Sales Operations)
LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN
hc1 is seeking a commercial operations professional. This person will be responsible for building out and developing a commercial operations department that will act as the hub for all commercial activity at hc1. This role will insure smooth communications between the sales, marketing, and service delivery portions of the hc1 team. They will drive efficiencies in the commercial and operations processes and develop standard processes that will allow hc1 to become a more effective commercial engine and will drive growth.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the Sales organization
Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts
Manage and continuously improve sales process management tools via HubSpot and other tools
Manage, with support from Marketing and Sales Leadership, Sales development functions to improve competence in our products, industry, competition and business essentials. We invest in learning to drive performance
Lead analytical deep-dives to understand sales drivers and opportunities for performance improvement
Assures optimal data hygiene and practices to assure the CRM is optimized for data driven decisions and actions.
Serve as a member of the Sales Leadership team to develop strategy and tactics supporting the company’s growth objectives.
Design and implement solutions that improve the effectiveness of the Sales, Channel and Customer Success teams, including sales process and tools, training programs, strategic partnership requirements, and reporting
Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly planning for the Sales team as part of the company's planning and management process
Work with sales leadership to make recommendations for sales compensation plans and partner with COO to implement and monitor effectiveness
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:
5+ years in an enterprise sales function in a start-up environment
Experience in a Healthcare, Life Science or Medical Device focused vendor environment
Salesforce, HubSpot or other CRM/SFA Certifications
Excel at analyzing data, understanding trends and generating recommendations for improvement
Experience designing, developing, and implementing policies and programs that drive improved sales performance
Effective interpersonal and communication skills that can be applied to all levels of an organization
Expert with the enterprise sales process and SaaS models
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must thrive on the excitement and challenge of being on a lean and busy team
