POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We deliver innovative products that enable progressive health systems and medical laboratories to eliminate waste and personalize healthcare. To build on our track record of success in building world-class health IT products on the AWS cloud, we are in search of an outstanding Director of Product Management. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end product management process from translating vision into requirements to successful product launch. You will be accountable for organizing, prioritizing, and communicating the product roadmap and will be required to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders both internally and externally.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Own the roadmap for designated solutions following a standard portfolio prioritization and planning process
Manage the full life cycle of products within the designated solution offering
Develop product strategy and business cases to support roadmap creation and decision making
Perform market and competitive analysis to understand current product position as well as identify trends and opportunities
Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding new products and capabilities, as well as progress against product goals with clear metrics
Engage with customers, prospects, and partners to continuously improve understanding on market needs and demands and to validate product direction
Translate product strategy and market needs into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams
Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization
YOUR BACKGROUND SHOULD INCLUDE:

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus
3 years experience in a Product Management or Technology Strategy role
Experience with Agile Scrum Methodology for software development
Ability to create user stories and complete product acceptance testing
Strong written and verbal communication skills that enable you to simplify complex problems and interact with all levels of technical and non-technical peers
Self-motivated and results oriented individual able to work independently and also collaboratively with a team
Demonstrated leadership in product management
Healthcare product management experience is required
