Scrum Master

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced scrum master to join our team and play a key role in our continued adoption of agile development. You will be responsible for ensuring development teams follow scrum framework values and agile practices, mentoring and motivating the teams to improve processes, facilitating meetings and decision-making processes, and eliminating team impediments.

To be successful as a scrum master, you should have a firm grasp of agile practices and the ability to manage and mentor development teams effectively. An outstanding scrum master should have excellent interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving skills.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facilitate the scrum process for multiple product-focused development and design teams.
Client management, capturing feedback loops and adjusting sprint initiatives as needed
Train, mentor, and support scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices.
Schedule and facilitate scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.
Plan and organize demos and product/system testing.
Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)
Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.
Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.
3+ years of experience as a scrum master or in a similar role.
Certified Scrum Master; JIRA Administration
Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.
Leadership and management experience.
Excellent people and project management skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in the Healthcare and/or Data Analytics industry a plus
