Job Description
The Engineering team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on the hc1 Precision Health Cloud Platform. The hc1 Precision Health Cloud connects patient health data sources from various silos in health IT to uncover actionable signals across patient populations and cohorts that inform individual patient care decisions. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Full-stack development
Design, implement, and unit test new applications, features, and functionality based on business requirements
Participate in code reviews, documentation of design, and implementation of Agile methodologies to ensure high-quality software
Troubleshoot and fix software application problems
Participate in software process quality efforts
Mentor junior developers
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
A four-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
5+ years experience with software design and development
5+ years professional experience doing PHP or Python development
Experience developing modern web user interfaces
Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Professional skills in working with various relational database systems
Ability to work both independently and in small team environments

Agile principles (Scrum): scrum master facilitated ceremonies: planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, demo and retrospectives.
