Job Summary/Basic Function: A successful candidate for this position will serve both as a Program Director and a member of the University faculty. Responsibilities for these roles are listed below:
Professional Masters of Athletic Training Program Director: Continue CAATE accreditation compliance, recruit students to the Masters of Athletic Training Program, plan, develop, implement, deliver, document, and assess all components of the curriculum, oversee clinical education in collaboration with the Clinical Education Coordinator, oversee programmatic budget under the supervision of the Department Chairperson. recruitment, input on selection and evaluation of personnel.

Specific Responsibilities: Engage in the challenging work required to teach well and facilitate learning, engage in research, scholarship or creativity, engage in service to the program, department, college, University, profession, and community, and engage in both professional and academic advising

Required Education and Experience: Must possess a doctoral degree (e.g. PhD, EdD, DAT) in athletic training or related field (e.g. kinesiology, exercise science, curriculum and instruction) by the start date of the position; Must be certified Athletic Trainer and in good standing with the Board of Certification; Must be eligible for licensure with the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency Athletic Trainers Board.

Certificates/Licenses and Registrations: State of Indiana License as an Athletic Trainer.
