Job Summary/Basic Function: The successful candidate is expected to actively contribute to continuing program development, collaborate with colleagues, and engage with students to promote curriculum in areas of Information Technology. This individual will teach IT related courses in an intensely active, outcomes-based learning environment in which innovative pedagogy, timely curriculum update, and excellence in student work is paramount.

Specific Responsibilities: Aid with recruiting prospective students; curriculum development in: IT network Threat modeling, secure protocols, communication and data encryption. wireless Communications Security, fault-Tolerance, cloud computing. SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, network Topology, OT/IT Network integration, database management advise Bachelors, Master’s and PhD level students, research and scholarship, serving on internal and external committees, professional and community service, participation in industry advisory board, engaging with industry partners.
The successful candidate must demonstrate excellence and innovation in research and teaching in the area of (but not limited to) computer networking, database, information security and digital animation and human computer interaction. Delivery of course materials in on-campus sections must be replicated through Indiana State University’s highly-regarded online program.

Required Education: A Ph.D. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline is required. Industrial experience in the IT/OT field preferred. We will also consider advanced ABDs who are able to obtain a doctoral degree by the next academic year

Certificates/Licenses and Registrations: A+ Certification, Microsoft Certifications, Professional certification preferred
