Job Summary/Basic Function: The Assistance Director of Finance position works closely with the Executive Director of the Division of Advancement to maintain financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded and presented. The primary responsibilities include performing month-end closing procedures, reconciling account balances and bank statements, variance analysis, and assisting in Financial Statement presentation. Provides management and oversight to areas of the Foundation’s General Ledger including: Accounts Payable, Notes Payable, Accounts Receivables, Pledges Receivable, Prepaid Assets and Fixed Assets. A successful candidate combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles, is a specialist on complex technical and business matter. Supervises the AP position. May assume a team lead role as responsibility progresses. This position should also has experience in collaborating with other business partners.
Required Education and Experience: Education:Bachelor’s Degree (4 years); Experience: 3-4 Years in Accounting required.
