Job Description
Job Summary/Basic Function: Teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, supervision of empirical Psy.D. dissertations, overseeing therapeutic and assessment services provided by Psy.D. students working in the ISU Psychology clinic, and contributing to service activities in the department and university.
Specific Responsibilities: Note that the specified teaching load is 12 semester hours, but the typical load is 3 classes/semester based on reassigned time for scholarly activities that support training of undergraduate and graduate students, including chairing master’s theses and doctoral dissertations.
Required Education and Experience: Candidates may apply ABD, but must have completed all requirements for their Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited psychology program prior to hire, including an accredited pre-doctoral internship. The selected candidate will be expected to obtain licensure and endorsement as a Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP) in Indiana.
