Job Description
Job Summary/Basic Function: Will teach in areas of specialty that they bring, as well as electives like visual communication, immersive journalism, sport media, investigative journalism, media theory and/or media criticism. Tenure Track and tenured faculty teaching load is 12 credit hours per term, however the majority of tenured/tenure track faculty in the department teach a 3-3 load, with 3 credit hours reassigned to support scholarly and/or creative projects, advising organizations, or other assignments.
Specific Responsibilities: Teaching duties will include face to face class assignments and may include online course delivery.
Required Education and Experience: Documented evidence of a PhD or terminal degree including advanced ABD candidates. Degree must be in communication or related fields.
