Assistant Professor of Communication

Job Description

Job Summary/Basic Function: Successful faculty will be able to teach in the undergraduate curricular core, in the areas of specialty the candidate brings to the Department, as well as electives (e.g. visual communication, immersive journalism, sport media, investigative journalism, media theory and/or media criticism). Evidence of successful teaching ability is requested.

Specific Responsibilities: Teaching duties will include face to face class assignments and may include online course delivery.

Required Education and Experience: PhD or terminal degree including advanced ABD candidates. Degree must be in communication or a related field.
