Job Summary/Basic Function: Primary responsibilities involve teaching and research in marketing as well as appropriate service activities. Community engagement and innovative experiential learning are strategic priorities at ISU and expected by members of the faculty. Teaching will be at the undergraduate and MBA levels primarily in the areas of sales and business negotiations, with the possibility of teaching consumer and business buyer behavior, promotions management and/or marketing strategy. Teaching evening or online classes may be required. Faculty members will typically teach nine credit hours (three course sections) per semester. Teaching over the summer is optional and additionally compensated.

Specific Responsibilities: Faculty are expected to maintain a productive research agenda resulting in quality peer-reviewed journal publications. Additionally, service to the college, university, and community at levels commensurate with rank and experience is also expected.

Required Education: Candidates for the positions should have earned a Ph.D. or D.B.A. with a concentration in marketing from an AACSB-International accredited business program, with coursework, research, or professional work experience in the area of expected teaching. ABD with completion planned prior to their start date may also be considered.
