Job Summary/Basic Function: This position will coordinate access to Electronic Theses & Dissertations (ETDs), Faculty Scholarship, Open Access (OA) Journals, and other OA creative works. The Digital Publishing Specialist will document workflows and facilitate the project planning to onboard new scholarship and support existing scholarship.

Specific Responsibilities: Intake new Electronic Theses & Dissertations (ETDs), develop descriptive metadata, examine for quality control, and load in Institutional Repository (IR), provided expertise for faculty projects and initiatives across to support the publication of new OA scholarly journals with a focus on student scholarship, migrate metadata and digital content across Institutional Repository (IR) vendor platforms, examine and optimize existing metadata and limiters within the Institutional Repository (IR), on board and support new OA publications, develop documented editorial workflows, monitor new avenues of support for diverse content such as Zines, video, and art, and seek out new ways to support student scholarship. Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience: Associates degree and 2 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in technology related discipline or Master of Library Science.
