Job Description

Job Summary/Basic Function: Promote and pursue a safe working and learning environment for students, faculty and staff with emphasis on regulatory compliance and minimizing liability for the University through developing and maintaining safety programs, conducting/coordinating safety training, conducting workplace evaluations and accident investigations.

Specific Responsibilities: OSHA Programs: Confined Space Entry, LO/TO, Respiratory Protection, Arc Flash, Hazard Communication, Bloodborne Pathogens, Job Hazard (PPE) Assessment, Walking/Working Surfaces, Powered Industrial Truck, Aerial Lift, Fall Protection; also Ergonomic Evaluations, Accident Investigations/OSHA 300 Log, and Art/Vocational Shop Safety.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with 2–5 years of relevant experience.

Certificates/Licenses and Registrations: Must possess a valid driver's license.
